The Association for Professional Learning Solutions is an educational tool for instructors who want to go further in their careers. It offers mentorship, resources, and tools to gain skills relevant to education.
The brand for APLS uses colors found in a standard classroom such as bright primary colors, but each color is dual-toned to add a level of interest. It's important that even though the brand needs to feel educational, it's tailored toward instructors and not children. This is achieved through the use of a sophisticated color palette and clean design with lots of white space. The letters from the logo are used like "building blocks" to create graphic elements throughout the brand designs.
The website is more of a web app than just a typical informative website, with modules for completing training, a resource library, and tools for facilitating mentorship among instructors and principals.
The logo is made up of four shapes as a nod to the building blocks found in educational settings. Each block is made up of two analogous primary colors plus green. Throughout the brand, the logo is deconstructed and each shape is repositioned to create graphic elements.
